Enable, disable, reorder, and remove mods

The Dashboard

Your mod library shows all imported mods with their status (enabled/disabled), type, and metadata.

Adding Mods

Drag & Drop - Drop files directly into the window Add Button - Click Add Mod to browse Bulk Import - Select a folder containing multiple mods

Supported formats: .zip, folders, .bundle, .fmf

Enable / Disable / Apply

  1. Toggle mods ON or OFF in the list
  2. Click Apply
  3. FMMLoader creates a restore point, then installs/removes files

Load Order

Graphics Packs

Order usually doesn't matter, but when multiple packs include the same file:

  • Last enabled pack wins for duplicates

Database Mods

  • Drag to reorder in the list
  • Bottom = loaded last = highest priority
  • Conflicting data from the bottom mod wins

Best practice: Large database mods first, small tweaks last.

Conflicts

FMMLoader detects when multiple mods write to the same file.

When Conflicts Are Found

  1. The Conflict Manager opens before Apply
  2. Review which mods overlap
  3. Either:
    • Reorder so the preferred mod loads last
    • Disable the conflicting mod
  4. Re-run Apply

Restore Points

Every Apply creates a restore point. To undo changes:

  1. Open Restore Points
  2. Select a snapshot
  3. Click Rollback

FMMLoader keeps your most recent restore points.

Removing Mods

Disable (Soft Remove)

Toggle OFF → mod stays in library, files remain on disk, can re-enable anytime.

Delete (Hard Remove)

Click Remove on the mod card → files deleted from library and FM directory.

Graphics Packs

FMMLoader auto-detects graphics type and routes to the correct folder:

TypeDestination
Facepacksgraphics/faces/
Logosgraphics/logos/
Kitsgraphics/kits/
Mixed/MegapacksSorted automatically

Large Packs (5GB+)

  • Progress bar shows extraction status
  • Background processing - you can continue using the app
  • If confidence is low on pack type, you'll be prompted to confirm

Graphics Not Showing?

  1. Ensure pack is enabled and applied
  2. In FM: PreferencesClear Cache
  3. Reload your skin
